TOAD IN THE HOLE..........

When Logan was 2 years old, Auntie Di (my best friend) made him a Toad In The Hole for breakfast. Apparently it was something very special her mom made for her when she was a little girl. Logan loved it! Ever since then it's been the favorite way to eat eggs at my house.

Step 1: Heat a non-stick skillet on the stove over med-high heat. Meanwhile, cute a hole out of a piece of bread.

Step 2: Butter both sides of toast and hole and place in a skillet.
Step 3: Crack egg into a small bowl (I always do this to make sure the eggs are fresh).
Step 4: Place a dot of butter in center of hole, and pour in egg.
Step 5 : Cook until egg under yolk turns white, then flip.
Step 6: Cook the other side until the egg is done then enjoy your Toad In The Hole. We dip the hole in the soft yolk of the Toad (sounds gross) or you can put jam on the hole...eat it however you want too.
