Insightful Vinyl For The Week
"Don’t be gloomy. Do not dwell on unkind things. Stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. Even if you are not happy, put a smile on your face. “Accentuate the positive.” Look a little deeper for the good. Go forward in life with a twinkle in your eye and a smile on your face, with great and strong purpose in your heart. Love life.” ~ Gordon B. Hinckley

CLONE WARS: BISQUICK

BISQUICK
I love Bisquick. It's all business! When I'm in a hurry, or let's face it....just plain lazy, it's my best friend. It can be used for a plethora of things, believe me. From cakes, cookies, breads, meals, on and on and on. Just Google Bisquick and you'll see the thousands of possibilities, including wall putty......kidding on the last one...don't choke.

RECIPE
Blend the following ingredients with a pastry cutter until all ingredients are well blended:

10 c flour
1/3 c baking powder
1/4 c sugar
1 TB salt
2 c powdered milk
2 c shortening

Store on the shelf in an airtight container. Use as Bisquick in any recipe.

Here is one of my favorite Bisquick Recipes:
