Insightful Vinyl For The Week
"Don’t be gloomy. Do not dwell on unkind things. Stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. Even if you are not happy, put a smile on your face. “Accentuate the positive.” Look a little deeper for the good. Go forward in life with a twinkle in your eye and a smile on your face, with great and strong purpose in your heart. Love life.” ~ Gordon B. Hinckley

THE 9TH DAY OF CHRISTMAS...

For the 9th day of Christmas we hung the Star ornament. The star symbolizes The Star of Bethlehem, which was a heavenly sign of the Savior's birth and represents the "Shining Hope" for mankind. Just as the Star of Bethlehem guided the wise men and shepherds to find baby Jesus, so shall we be guided to find Him if we open our hearts.

We read The Small Lost Sheep as our Christmas story. The theme of the story is about how we can sometimes lose our way in this life, and without knowing it, the example of others can lead us home.
