Insightful Vinyl For The Week
"Don’t be gloomy. Do not dwell on unkind things. Stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. Even if you are not happy, put a smile on your face. “Accentuate the positive.” Look a little deeper for the good. Go forward in life with a twinkle in your eye and a smile on your face, with great and strong purpose in your heart. Love life.” ~ Gordon B. Hinckley

THE 5TH DAY OF CHRISTMAS

Last night we celebrated the 5th day of Christmas by hanging the Jingle Bell ornament. The Jingle Bell symbolizes Prophecy. It represents the truth that every ear will hear and every eye will see that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, the Savior of mankind.

We read half of the book Benjamin's Gift. So far it is a very endearing and touching story of the struggles of a 10 year old boy born without legs in Judea during the time of our Savior's birth. I can't wait to see how it ends.

As a family activity we watched the Polar Express. My greatest hope for my children is that we will always hear the ringing of the bell, and remember the true meaning of Christmas.
