Insightful Vinyl For The Week
"Don’t be gloomy. Do not dwell on unkind things. Stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. Even if you are not happy, put a smile on your face. “Accentuate the positive.” Look a little deeper for the good. Go forward in life with a twinkle in your eye and a smile on your face, with great and strong purpose in your heart. Love life.” ~ Gordon B. Hinckley

OUR FIRST SNOW ANGEL

We woke up this morning to 2 inches of snow! Snowballs before trick-or-treating, come on! Where did fall go? Fall is my favorite time of year and it seems that winter keeps stepping on her toes. I'm glad the kids at least enjoyed the early snowfall.
They were thrilled, woke up squealing and hit the floor running, racing downstairs to bundle up and play in the snow before Logan started school. It took me 15 minutes just to find all the snow gear, 10 minutes to bundle them up, all this for only 10 minutes of playing in the snow.

In the end it was worth all the smiles and giggles, the mini snow ball fight, and the first taste of fresh snow!
