(This batter will be a little thicker than regular waffle batter)
1 1/2 c whole wheat flour
2 t baking powder
3-4 TB honey
1 egg
1 3/4 c milk
1/3 c melted butter
We like to make fruit syrups from our favorite homemade jams (my fav is spiced apricot jam). Just take 1/4 c of jam and place in a microwave safe bowl and heat until it melts, about 30 secs. Viola!
